Subject : Student selection to Secret programme

Dear Aidi,

The final student selections for the Secret programme have now been made and I have the pleasure to inform you that you have been selected to the programme for studies starting in September 2010. On behalf of the Secret university, I wish to congratulate you on the place in the programme, and a warmly welcome you to Finland.

An official letter of acceptance and the required enrolment forms will be sent to you shortly by postal mail; please inform me of your current postal address if it has changed since the time of your application to the programme. You will be required to confirm that you accept (or decline) the study place and will start your studies in Secret Place in September 2010; if you do not confirm that you wish to enrol on the programme, you will surrender your study right. An information package on studying and living in Secret City will also be sent to you.

Please note that if you need a residence permit for entry to Finland, it is recommended that you submit your application as soon as you receive the acceptance letter.

Subject :  Interview time for Secret programme 

Dear Aidi,

As per my previous e-mail, the selection board has decided to shortlist you to the second stage of the selection process for the Secret Programme. You will be interviewed by telephone for the programme and the final selections for admission are made on the basis of your application papers and the interview.  

The following interview time has been arranged for you: 

Wednesday 7 April 2010 at 15:00 Indonesian time, 11:00 Finnish time (09:00 GMT+ 1)   

The phone interview itself will take no longer than half an hour and will be conducted in the premises of the Embassy of Finland in Jakarta; the  Embassy will charge an hourly fee of xxx rupiahs per hour for the interview. You will be required to pay this fee before the interview so please ensure that you will arrive at the Embassy well in advance of the interview. You will also be required to present proof of identity so please bring your passport with you to the interview.

Well, I just passed this kind of moment few weeks ago. Now, wait again. 

I don't know i will fail or not. That's not really matter anymore.

I do believe, if we just do our best, then we will get the best.

The Relative Burden

"Bukan berat beban yang membuat kita stress, tetapi lamanya kita memikul beban tersebut"

Pada saat memberikan kuliah tentang manajemen Stress, Stephen Covey mengangkat segelas air dan bertanya kepada para siswanya: "Seberapa berat menurut anda kira - kira segelas air ini?" Para siswa menjawab mulai dari 200 gr sampai 500 gr. "Ini bukanlah masalah berat absolutnya, tapi tergantung berapa lama anda memegangnya." kata Stephen Covey.

"Jika saya memegang selama 1 menit, tidak ada masalah. Jika saya memegangnya selama 1 jam, lengan saya akan sakit. Dan jika saya memegangnya selama 1 hari penuh, mungkin anda harus memanggilkan ambulans untuk saya. Beratnya sebenarnya sama, tapi semakin lama saya memegangnya, maka bebannya semakin berat."

"Jika kita membawa beban kita terus menerus, lambat laun kita tidak akan mampu membawanya lagi. Beban itu akan meningkat beratnya." lanjut Covey "Apa yang harus kita lakukan adalah meletakkan gelas tersebut, istirahat sejenak sebelum mengangkatnya lagi."

Kita harus meninggalkan beban kita secara periodik, agar kita dapat lebih segar dan mampu membawanya lagi. Jadi sebelum pulang kerumah dari pekerjaan sore ini, tinggalkan beban pekerjaan. Jangan bawa pulang. Beban itu dapat diambil lagi besok.

  

Apapun beban yang ada dipundak hari ini, coba tinggalkan sejenak jika bisa. Setelah beristirahat nanti dapat diambil lagi. Hidup ini singkat, jadi cobalah menikmatinya dan memanfaatkannya....!!! Hal terindah dan terbaik didunia ini tak dapat dilihat atau disentuh tapi dapat dirasakan jauh di relung hati kita.
